Common questions
Clarity before commitment.
You should understand what Telos is, what it is not, and what choices remain yours before you begin.
Is Telos therapy?
No. Telos is a guided self-discovery and educational experience. It does not provide psychotherapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, or crisis services.
Will Telos tell me what is wrong with me?
No. Telos helps organize what you choose to share so you can consider themes, patterns, strengths, pressures, and possibilities more clearly.
What does AI-supported mean?
AI helps organize and reflect information you provide. It may identify recurring themes or summarize ideas for your consideration. AI output can be incomplete or mistaken.
Do I have to answer every question?
No. Share only what feels appropriate. You may pause, skip questions where permitted, or return later.
What happens after I complete it?
You may receive a personalized reflective summary identifying themes, values, tensions, strengths, and questions for further reflection. It is not a diagnosis or final judgment.
What if I disagree with the reflection?
Your disagreement matters. Keep what feels accurate, question what does not, and remain attentive to your lived experience.
Is Telos appropriate during a crisis?
No. Telos is not an emergency or crisis-response service. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource when immediate help is needed.
Do I need to be ready to change?
No. You only need enough willingness to look. Sometimes recognition comes before readiness, and curiosity is the first movement.
